NAFCEL embarked on its journey in 1983, securing a license for the manufacturing of aluminum easy open ends. Three years later, in 1986, the plant was meticulously constructed in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by Metal Box, now Crown Holdings, our esteemed technical partner. Commercial production commenced swiftly in January 1987, marking the beginning of our commitment to excellence with an initial production capacity of 3.7 billion. Since then, we’ve surged forward, expanding our capabilities to meet growing demand, with our current production capacity standing proudly at 21 billion.
Our primary products include 200 and 202 diameter in B64 and ISE variations, alongside non-reform 200, 202, and 209 diameter ends, all meticulously crafted to meet the diverse needs of the beverage and fruit drink industries.
NAFCEL’s ownership structure reflects a majority stake held by Saudi investors along with CROWN our valued technical partner. Our operational prowess is underscored by eight shell presses and eighteen conversion presses, showcasing our dedication to efficiency and quality.
